Please join us for the launch of Uncover Church Avenue, the Church Avenue BID's public art contest! Food, fun, and information on how you can be a part of this exciting new program.
When: Wed. Oct. 5 at 6:30 p.m.
Where: Bonnie Youth Club (1221 Church Ave., off Westminster Road)
Through Uncover Church Avenue, local artists are invited to submit designs and community members and the program's Design Advisory Committee will choose the winning art works. The winning artists will then install murals of their designs on select solid roll down gates and building fronts along Church Avenue between Argyle Road and Coney Island Ave. with the hope of attracting new business to the area. Uncover Church Avenue is funded by the NYC Dept. of Small Business Services through its Avenue NYC program. For more information or to rsvp, please contact Melissa Skolnick at
