Named for the Southern Indian city of Hyderabad, the 'båD plays a quirky and eclectic mix of covers and originals:
Bollywood, spaghetti Western, and Yma Sumac mix with 60s exotica and classic cumbia.
 
Featuring Kamala Sankaram (vocals, accordion), Timothy Quigley (percussion), Drew Fleming (electric guitar), Gil Smuskowicz (upright bass), and Jeff Hudgins (alto sax).

Ditmas Acoustic @ the Sanctuary, was started in fall 2010 by Ditmas Park-based musicians Richie Barshay and Michael Winograd. The Sanctuary at Temple Beth Emeth, built in 1911, is a wonderful space to hear all kinds of music locally.
