EIGHT FELONIES IN KENSINGTON IN TWO WEEKS, SEPTEMBER 5TH THROUGH SEPTEMBER 18TH, FROM THE 66TH PRECINCT'S PIMS UNIT

Week of September 5th through September 11th

Grand Larceny
  • McDonald Avenue. The victim was at a location visiting and left her bag unattended; when she returned, it was gone. No arrests were made.
  • Caton Avenue. A known perpetrator took the victim's Apple Macbook and son's iphone. No arrest was made. The thief is a twenty-two-year-old woman.

Week of September 12th through September 18th

Robbery
  • Cortelyou Road and E. 9th Street. The victim stated that an unknown man grabbed a gold chain while it was being worn and fled in an unknown direction. No arrest was made. 
  • Ditmas Avenue and E. 8th Street. While a man was walking to the park, an unknown man approached him and demanded money. When the victim refused, the thief reached into the victim's pocket and removed cash "without permission or authority." 
  • The victim states that while holding a parking spot, two men exited a 1995 Nissan, pushed her to the ground, and took her cell phone. No arrests were made.
Burglary
  • McDonald Avenue. While a man was making deliveries, an unknown thief entered his vehicle through the front passenger side door and removed items from it. No arrest was made.
Grand Larceny
  • Ocean Parkway. The victim states that an unknown person used her identity to make purchases with her Macy's credit card.
  • Church Avenue. The victim states that while exiting a cab, the driver drove off with his belongings (electronics), not waiting to get paid. No arrest was made.
