PICS OF NATIONAL NIGHT OUT AGAINST CRIME AT THE 66TH

The 66th Precinct's National Night Out Against Crime, held at the precinct house on August 2nd, is a family-friend evening. The annual event offers a relaxed environment for a police-citizen bonding experience. It gives police the opportunity to educate adults and children about crime and safety and show children a fun time. The 66th Precinct Community Council and Shomrim set up tables with literature about crime prevention, and the precinct provides food, rides, a bouncy castle, and a real firetruck and a real police motor scooter for kids to pretend that they're "on the job."
