At 12:30 a.m., the National Weather Service issued a flood warning for the New York City area until noon on Sunday. Because most flood injuries occur in automobiles, if you have to drive, be careful. Don't drive your vehicle into areas where water covers the entire roadway.
The tornado watch is also in effect until 5:00 a.m. on Sunday.
