PROSPECT PARK LAKE: GRAVEYARD FOR GARBAGE

Prospect Park Lake has more in it than water. Last April, PIX reporter Greg Mocker pulled a television out of the lake. He also spotted a tire, which he retrieved two weeks later (and brought to Parks Department headquarters in Manhattan). This month, Mocker removed a folding chair, the base of an office chair, and a metal barricade. He also found what was either an oil drum or a trash can.
