SEXUAL ASSAULTS THE TOPIC AT CB 7'S PUBLIC SAFETY COMMITTEE MEETING

Eleven sexual assaults--including a rape--have been committed against women in Park Slope, South Park Slope, Sunset Park, and Greenwood Heights since March by two, or possibly three, different men. The attacks have all been outdoors at night and against white women, most of whom were wearing skirts or dresses. The attacks are made from behind.

Be alert. Don't block your hearing with earphones. Don't be distracted by a phone conversation. Scream loudly if you feel you're in danger, and then immediately call 911 to get help and report the crime.

Community Board 7's Public Safety Committee is making this onslaught of attacks the focal point of its meeting on Tuesday, September 20th. The 72nd Precinct will be there to provide an update, talk about the next steps, and address the community's questions and concerns.

Date: Tuesday, September 20th, 6:30 p.m.
Location: Holy Name Parish's Shepherd's Hall, 245 Prospect Park West, between Windsor Place and Prospect Avenue
