Get a tree--for free--from New York Restoration Project. You'll get instructions on how to plant the tree in your yard or garden and how to take care of it. Some trees are small enough to carry home on the subway.
Pick-ups are scheduled for Sunday, April 29th, 10:00 a.m. to noon, at Green-Wood Cemetery and Sunday, June 3rd, 10:00 a.m. to noon, at Compost for Brooklyn, 736 E. 8th Street at Newkirk Avenue.
