Friends of Greenwood Playground (FoGP)
is now accepting applications from vendors
for its Second Annual Spring Flea Market.

Professional vendors, stoop-salers, and people selling or promoting services or promoting a business are welcome to participate.

The flea market provides a local place to browse, buy, and sell. In addition to great buys, family-oriented musical entertainment will be offered. Last year, a huge number of people attended the flea market.

Vendors will keep all of the profits from their sales. For only $30, vendors get a 10' x 10' space, and for an additional $18, a six-foot-long table and two folding chairs will be provided. All of the money that's raised will go to FoGP's general fund to benefit future programs in the playground.

Pre-registration is open through Monday, April 25th.

The number of spaces is limited, so please pre-register right away. Registration information is available on FoGP's website.

Groups that offer free community services or are trying to better the world can put educational material on the free "community tables." Please bring your own chair if you plan to sit at a community table. Many groups put their material on these tables last year, so if you'll need more space to display yours, bring a table and chairs with you. If enough spaces are available, you'll be given one for free. FoGP won't know if extra space is available until the day of the flea market. Community groups are encouraged to purchase a table to help fund programming at the playground.

Don't miss this wonderful community event!

Date: Saturday, May 7th, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a rain date of Sunday, May 8th.

Location: Greenwood Playground is located at the corner of Fort Hamilton Parkway and E. 5th Street in Windsor Terrace.
