ST. PATRICK'S DAY PARADE STARTS AT PROSPECT PARK WEST AT 15TH STREET

St. Patrick's Day Parade
Sunday, March 20th, 1:00 p.m.

  • 9:00 a.m.: Holy Name Church will hold a pre-Parade Mass. Holy Name Church is at 245 Prospect Park West, between Windsor Place and Prospect Avenue.
  • Noon: The parade will assemble at Prospect Park West at 14th Street.
  • 12:45 p.m.: A “Re-Dedication Ceremony” to the heroes and victims of September 11th–World Trade Center will be held at Prospect Park West and 15th Street.
  • 1:00 p.m.: Park Slope's 36th Annual St Patrick's Day Parade will start at 15th Street and Prospect Park West, travel down 15th Street to 7th Avenue, turn right onto 7th Avenue and continue to Union Street, turn right onto Union Street, go up one block to Prospect Park West and turn right, and continue on Prospect Park West back to 15th Street.
Mae O’Driscoll will be the Parade Grand Marshal. Born in County Cork, she is a leader in the New York Irish community, a member of the United Irish Counties Association, the co-founder and a charter member of the Irish immigration Reform Movement and a former chairperson of its New York State Branch, and a trustee and former president of the County Cork Benevolent, Patriotic and Protective Association.
