New York City Councilmember Brad Lander reports on the "Community Conversation on Public School Instruction and Assessment" that he hosted on March 14th. The conversation focused on "(1) what we want our kids to learn, (2) how we know whether that’s happening, and (3) how we should evaluate kids, teachers and schools." and the hoped-for "move away from 'teaching to the test.'"
