Throughout New York City's centuries-long history, immigrants have helped to make our city the place that we choose to live in. To celebrate this year's Immigrant Heritage Week, the Mayor's Office of Immigrant Affairs is partnering with StoryCorps to document the experiences of immigrants and the contributions they've made to our city.
Established in 2004, Immigrant Heritage Week will be celebrated this year from Monday, April 11th, to Sunday, April 17th. Tell your story at the New York City StoryCorps Story Booth, located in Foley Square near Worth and Centre streets. To schedule an interview, call (800) 850-4406, starting on Tuesday, March 22nd.
