Free Credit Fair for Local Small Businesses
and Small Business Panel Discussion
Tuesday, March 22nd, from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Saint Francis College at 180 Remsen Street, will be the site of a free Credit Ready NYC credit fair for entrepreneurs, start-ups, and small business owners. Credit Ready NYC is the City Council's new two-part initiative to help increase lending to local small businesses struggling to obtain credit by working with banks and educating small business owners.
Representatives from the NYC Department of Small Business Services will be at the fair to provide free counseling and advice on how to properly apply for a loan, and banks and community and alternative lenders will be available to discuss loan applications and available programs.
A special panel discussion about city, state, and federal loan programs and how they work will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
