FELONIES IN KENSINGTON AND MIDWOOD REPORTED TO THE 66TH PRECINCT, MARCH 7TH THROUGH MARCH 13TH

A burglary was reported to the 66th Precinct for Kensington during the week of March 6th through March 13th:
  • Burglary: On March 9th, a daycare center at 550 Ocean Parkway, between Ditmas Avenue and Avenue F, was entered through a rear window and $4,000 was removed. Two men were arrested.
Three burglaries were reported to the 66th Precinct for Midwood during that week:
  • Burglary: On March 6th, unknown perpetrators broke and entered through the back door of a clothing store at 1587 McDonald Avenue, between avenues M and N, and removed $7,500. No arrests were made.
  • Burglary: On March 11th, unknown perpetrators broke the lock of the rear door at 1250 E. 9 Street, between avenues L and M, and removed jewelry from the victim's home. No arrests were made.
  • Burglary: On March 11th, unknown perpetrators cut a hole in the wall of a commercial building at 1622 Coney Island Avenue, between avenues L and M, and removed money and electronics.
  • Robbery: On March 12th, three men approached a thirteen-year-old boy and demanded his money, but he didn't have any. One of the men punched him twice, and then the men walked away. No arrests were made.
