PLANNING SPRINGTIME ACTIVITIES FOR KIDS AND ADULTS

From Friends of Greenwood Playground:
Looking for something interesting to do in Kensington/Windsor Terrace? Want to make new friends? Accomplish both by checking out Friends of Greenwood Playground. Meetings are on the first Sunday of every month from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Oak and the Iris Cafe, 2826 Fort Hamilton Parkway, corner of E. 4th Street.

This Sunday, March 6th, we'll be talking about the Spring Craft & Flea Market and how to keep the playground a safe, fun, and beautiful place in spite of the massive budget cuts at the Parks Department. We will also discuss YOUR ideas of what we can do at the playground. It's OUR public space! The possibilities are endless. Roller derby fitness class exists because one member suggested it. Another member is interested in bringing dance classes to the playground.
