KENSINGTON FAMILY SHELTER CELEBRATES SPRING WITH VOLUNTEERS FROM THE COMMUNITY

CAMBA, the non-profit organization that operates The Kensington, reports:

The Kensington Family Shelter bustled with activities this spring, all of which showcased the shelter's incredible network of community supporters.
In early April, volunteers from the community attended a spring luncheon and an Easter egg hunt.
Sonjie Feliciano Solomon, founder of Hatch Things LLC and inventor of PockeTeez, stopped by the shelter to hand out nearly 200 of these fun shirts and SureShop bags, much to the delight of the children and their parents.
In early May, volunteers from Neuberger Berman, a wealth management firm, spent a morning making the shelter's grounds beautiful by weeding and planting flowers along McDonald Avenue.
A special CAMBA shout-out goes to Scott Woodcock for organizing this fantastic event, and to all the volunteers and supporters who dedicated their time to make our clients' stays at The Kensington a bit brighter.
