Counteract hate on our streets and in our subways by learning practical skills to diffuse situations that threaten another person's human rights and dignity. Learn how to safely intervene when you see someone being harassed.
Hollaback! will offer bystander intervention training at One World Project this Sunday. Training will be followed by a special action.
A suggested donation of $5 to 10 per person will support Hollaback's work.
The hosts will provide drinks; contributions of wine are also welcome.
Solidarity Sundays :: The Brooklyn Resistance is hosting the event. "As intersectional feminist activists, we creatively resist the earmarks of oppression on all fronts and take action towards peace, justice and equity."
