Sunday, June 25th, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
At Kensington Improvisers Collective this Sunday, solo performances by double bassist Brandon Lopez and drummer and percussionist Sam Ospovat will be followed by a performance by the group Mughal Muesli.

The musicians in Mughal Muesli are Xavier Del Castillo on tenor sax, Vicente Hansen on drums, and Mathew Muntz on double bass. The trio's music is "A succulent blend of forgotten empires, obscure Russian composers, Ornette Coleman, Bach, Henry Threadgill, and a touch of honey."
Their debut album, "Imperial Cereal," features "original compositions, deconstructed standards, and new interpretations of works by Ornette Coleman, Ivan Wyschnegradsky, and J.S. Bach."
Homemade pizza will be served. BYOB.
The $12 fee for the show will be used to pay the host and the performers.
Kensington Improvisers Collective is in a private house at 659 E. 2nd Street in Kensington, between Ditmas Avenue and Avenue F. It is "A space in Kensington dedicated to celebrating the beautiful diversity of modern improvised music in Brooklyn."
