Scout Troop Open House
Tuesday, May 16th, 6:30 p.m.
A new scout troop is scheduled to launch in Ditmas Park and Flatbush in September, with a focus on outdoor skills and community service.
The troop will have evening meetings two times per month, a weekend activity once per month, and group camping trips four times per year.
All children from kindergarten through 5th grade, regardless of religious choice, gender identity, or orientation, are welcome to join the troop. No prior scouting experience is necessary.
The inclusive co-ed troop will be chartered by the Baden-Powell Service Association (BPSA). BPSA is independent of, and not affiliated with, the Boys Scouts of America or the Girl Scouts of the USA. It is a member of the World Federation of Independent Scouts (WFIS).
Learn more about the troop at an Open House on Tuesday, May 16th, at 6:30 p.m. Priority in being admitted to the troop will be given to families who register and attend the Info Session and/or can commit to taking on key volunteer roles.
Due to space limitations, do not bring children to the Open House unless it is unavoidable.
In addition to registering for the Info Session, fill out this form with your contact details and other information about your family. Even if you cannot attend the meeting, if you are interested in joining the troop, fill out the form.
