A fighter in the drive for fair treatment
for workers and fair compensation for their labor has passed away. Felix Trinidad Tzatzapotla, a
stock worker at Golden Farm for about ten years, died of cancer
on Thursday, July 12th. He was only thirty-four years old. He continued to work, despite his illness, until May 2nd--the day that Golden Farm employees voted for a union. The next day, he entered a hospital.
To assist his wife, Anastacia Gonzalez Ramos, and their
children with expenses, New York Communities
for Change has created a fund raising page, "In Memory of Felix Trinidad Tzatzapotla."
Rest in peace.
