FREE MEMORIAL DAY CONCERT

14th Annual Memorial Day Concert
at Green-Wood Cemetery
Monday, May 28th, 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Listen to the ISO Symphonic Band--a wind, brass, and percussion ensemble of New York City students--and its founder and conductor, Brian P. Worsdale, play the music of composers buried in Green-Wood Cemetery: Fred Ebb, Louis Moreau Gottschalk, Leonard Bernstein, and others.

The concert is free.  Bring a blanket to sit on. Food and refreshments will be sold all day.


Take the “R” train to 25th Street in Brooklyn and walk up the hill one block and into the cemetery. Meet inside the main gate.

A mini tour on the trolley will follow the concert, featuring such highlights as De Witt Clinton's bronze statue, Battle Hill, and the Civil War Soldiers’ Lot.
