TWEETING IN PROSPECT PARK

Humans and birds will both be tweeting in Prospect Park when the park gets wireless Internet access (Wi-Fi) by the end of this summer.

Prospect Park is one of the twenty parks throughout the five boroughs that will have free Wi-Fi. The free access is courtesy of AT&T. The initiative will run for five years.

The five parks in Brooklyn that will have Internet access are Prospect Park, Brooklyn Bridge Park, Fort Greene Park, Herbert Von King Park, and McCarren Park.

The twenty parks will have twenty-six Wi-Fi locations.
