Flying Teaspoons for Babies, with Joanne Riel
Four Mondays in June (June 6th, 13th, 20th, and 27th),
4:00 p.m. to 4:45 p.m.
Encourage your child’s uniqueness and creativity from the very start of life. Songs emerge magically as your baby discovers, plays, and interacts in class. Musical connections nurture and deepen the relationship between parent/caregiver and baby and encourage natural curiosity. Joanne’s CD, "The Flying Teapot," is also used, along with multicultural music. She utilizes movement, instrument play, balls, and scarves. The goal is to create a nurturing and joyful environment.
Fee: $50 for four weeks. The fee includes a "Flying Teapot" CD. If you already have the CD, the fee is $40. Sibling fee: $5 per class. Drop-in fee: $12 per class; sibling fee: $8.
Classes are limited to twelve families.
Recommended for babies and toddlers (birth through fourteen months).
Flying Teaspoons meets in Windsor Terrace in the home of a class member near E.5th Street and Greenwood Playground. To sign up, e-mail Joanne at joafree1 [at] msn.com.
