DAVID BINDMAN ENSEMBLE BRINGS ITS MUSIC TO WINDSOR TERRACE LIBRARY


The David Bindman Ensemble
Saturday, May 19th, 1:30 p.m.  to 3:00 p.m.

The David Bindman Ensemble will perform a free concert of jazz and world music at Windsor Terrace Library in celebration of National Chamber Music Month.

The ensemble features David Bindman, tenor and soprano saxophones/composer; Wes Brown, bass; royal hartigan, drums; Art Hirahara, piano; Frank London, trumpet and flugelhorn; and Reut Regev, trombone, performing songs and extended compositions by Bindman.

Their debut CD, "Sunset Park Polyphony," was recently released and selections can be listened to here.

The concert is sponsored by the Greater New York Arts Development Fund of the City Department of Cultural Affairs, administered by the Brooklyn Arts Council, Inc. (BAC), the Brooklyn Delegation to the New York State Assembly, and Brooklyn Public Library.
