For six to eight weeks, starting on Monday, March 26th, alternate side of the street parking and street cleaning regulations will be suspended in Community Board 7. This includes parts of Sunset Park, Greenwood Heights, and the Windsor Terrace sections of CB7.
The regulations are suspended while the Department of Transportation installs new signs that show the recently-approved changes in street cleaning restrictions. The changes reduce the frequency and duration of street cleaning restrictions in many areas. When the sign changes are complete throughout the entire area indicated in the map above, the new regulations will take effect. Advance notice will be given before enforcement resumes.
Regulations will be suspended only on signs that have a broom that indicates street cleaning rules.
