GET YOUR DOG WASHED AT A FUNDRAISER FOR SEAN CASEY ANIMAL RESCUE

Dog Wash and Fundraiser
Saturday, August 19th
10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

A dog's life isn't easy: running back and forth inspecting its apartment, being attentive to sounds in the hallway, barking warnings, taking their humans out for a walk....

Its duties are hard work and a big responsibility, so dogs look forward to some well-deserved down time. A relaxing bath, for instance, can be rejuvenating.

Reward your dogs and make them feel even more special than usual at a fundraiser for Sean Casey Animal Rescue on Saturday, August 19th, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., where they'll be washed with loving care by Brooklyn Bark.

Donate what you can for this treat for your dogs. All proceeds will go to Sean Casey Animal Rescue to continue work that benefits animalkind and humankind.

PET HOTLINE SUPPORTS PETS OF PEOPLE AFFECTED BY COVID-19

A COVID-19 Pet Hotline for New York City residents is an information, planning, referral, and service coordination hub for people who need support for their pets during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Call Pet Hotline operators at (877) 204-8821 from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily.

The Pet Hotline and supportive services are provided by the City’s Animal Planning Task Force, which is coordinated by NYC Emergency Management.

The Task Force is a collaboration between City agencies and nonprofits, including the Humane Society of the United States, the ASPCA, Animal Haven, Animal Care Centers of NYC, Bideawee, American Red Cross, Mayor’s Alliance for NYC’s Animals, NYC VERT, New York State Animal Protection Federation, Best Friends Animal Society, and PAWS NY.

The Pet Hotline will address people’s questions and concerns about keeping their pets during the COVID-19 crisis. It'll also connect callers to pet relief resources, such as subsidized emergency veterinary care and food and supply distribution services.

For pets that require a higher level of care, cases will be escalated for coordination of temporary placement or supplemental care of animals.

SOLOMON IS SEARCHING FOR A LOVING HOME

This is Solomon. He lives at Sean Casey Animal Rescue, where he's treated very well. But Solomon would like to find a permanent, loving home.

Solomon is our 3 year old Pit Bull mix. Solomon has an interesting story...he was at Animal Care & Control in Brooklyn for a while but he wasn't adopted.
He got sick and tested positive for heartworm and was placed on the euthanasia list, but no one wanted to perform the procedure because of the cross on Solomon's chest!
Solomon was placed at our rescue where he has been successfully treated for heartworm and is ready to find his forever home.

Solomon needs a home with no small animals (no cats, guinea pigs etc). Solomon has survived the city shelter and heartworm...he is ready to live his life to the fullest and find his lifelong companion!
Solomon's adopter must have him retested for heartworm and keep him on heartworm preventative medication for the rest of his life. Stop by the shelter and spend time with him to see if he is the right match for you.

Solomon will thrive in his forever home and be your faithful companion. He will be responsive to positive reinforcement training. Our experienced staff is available to talk with you, answer your questions, and provide advice on how to transition him to your home.

Solomon is neutered, dewormed, treated to prevent fleas & ticks, and is up to date with vaccinations. His adoption fee is $200.00, and he'll get one free exam at our vet's office, one free month of pet health insurance, and a microchip.

If you'd like to adopt him please call or visit...we are conveniently located in Windsor Terrace, Brooklyn near the F train and we're open every day from 11am to 7pm. Solomon can't wait to meet you!
