Community Song Circle for All Ages
Wednesday, September 23⋅5:00 – 6:30pm
Join us for a pop-up Song Circle at the East 4th Street Community Garden! Open to song lovers of all ages and musical abilities (especially those who've been told not to sing!). Come and sing along, hum along, sway along, listen along. We'll have a list of songs to share and also welcome participants to lead a favorite song or suggest a song for someone else to lead.
 
Yoga with Sunee / YogaSole
Wednesday, September 23⋅5:30 – 6:30pm
Take a break from your busy day and immerse yourself in nature while practicing yoga. This in-person event is the perfect opportunity to unwind, stretch, and connect with your mind and body. Whether you're a seasoned yogi or a beginner, all levels are welcome. Grab your yoga mat and come join us for a rejuvenating experience in the garden! Focus is Forgiveness.
 
Bluegrass Jam
Saturday, September 26⋅1:00 – 3:00pm
Open Bluegrass Jam Sessions are scheduled throughout the 2026 season, weather permitting. Bring your guitar, ukulele, banjo, etc., and join in! All skill levels and ages are welcome. Kids are invited to dance along and possibly even touch the instruments after the session.

What dark lore and histories lurk in our gardens, parks, and woodlands? Join BMCC sociology professor Rifat Salam for a talk exploring the folklore, myths, and magic of plants—from the familiar to the infamous. To be followed by an herbal garden tour by our very own Marian Trupiano!
