F AND G TRAIN CHANGES FROM JANUARY 10TH THROUGH MAY

UPDATE: THESE CHANGES HAVE BEEN POSTPONED FOR ONE WEEK.


Changes to F and G Train Service
from Monday, January 10th, at 5:00 a.m. through May 2011
 

15 St-Prospect Park and Fort Hamilton Pkwy stations: No Manhattan-bound F or Queens-bound G service

From 15th Street-Prospect Park and from Fort Hamilton Parkway, take a Coney Island-bound F or Church Av-bound G train to Church Avenue and transfer to a Manhattan-bound F or Queens-bound G train.

To 15th Street-Prospect Park and to Fort Hamilton Parkway, take a Manhattan-bound F or Queens-bound G to 7 Av and transfer to a Church Av-bound G or Coney Island-bound F train.


 

Smith-9th Streets station: No Manhattan-bound F service

From Smith-9th Street, take a Queens-bound G train to Carroll Street and transfer to the F.

To Smith-9th Street, transfer at 7th Avenue to a Queens-bound G.



Church Av and 7 Av stations

At the Church Avenue and 7th Avenue stations, all Manhattan and Queens-bound trains stop at the express track.




4th Avenue-9th Street station

At the 4th Avenue-9th Street station, Manhattan-bound F and Queens-bound F trains stop at a temporary platform accessed via the Coney Island-bound platform.


 

• Passengers can now transfer between the A, C, F, and R trains at the Jay Street-MetroTech wheelchair-accessible station where elevators and escalators are available.
