Community Fridges and Tiny Purple Pantries are tools in the struggle for food justice and against food
insecurity and an opportunity for neighbors to help neighbors. [KWTMA no longer maintains the Tiny Purple Pantry.]
Kensington/Windsor Terrace Mutual Aid (KWTMA) set up a Community Fridge today near the northeast corner of E. 2nd Street and Fort Hamilton Parkway, by the laundromat [now located on Church Avenue, between E. 5th Street and Ocean Parkway]. There you can donate perishable foods, such as dairy products, meat, eggs, home-cooked meals, fresh fruit, and fresh vegetables, or you can take food that you need.
