POT A FIG TREE (FREE)


 Fig Tree Potting Workshop with Susan Braverman
 Saturday, May 21st, 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

In this free hands-on workshop, Horticultural Therapist Master Susan Braverman will teach people how to grow a fig tree. During the workshop, you'll pot a sapling to take home. Fig trees thrive in small space and in containers.

About Susan Braverman
Susan Braverman is a Horticultural Therapist Master and founder of Urban Oasis, a rehab program that includes an inner city farm, two greenhouses and a farmers market. In a partnership between the nonprofit GreenWorks Team and Brooklyn Public Library, she has worked with neighborhood residents and people with disabilities on community gardening projects.
