Earth Day Celebration
Saturday, April 25th, 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Prospect Farm will celebrate Earth Day by opening the farm to the public for tours, gardening, composting demonstrations, children’s activities, music, and food. Celebrate community. Celebrate local food production.
The event will take place rain or shine. Donations are welcome but not required.

About Prospect Farm
Prospect Farm is committed to producing healthy local food as an alternative to industrial food, improving the soil and building community. We farm cooperatively and strive for diversity in food production and membership. We farm without chemical fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides and create healthy soil through our community composting project.
Prospect Farm is a non-profit, cooperative project begun in March 2010 and is located on land owned by Tom Angotti and Emma Matos. We support the Brooklyn Food Coalition and other initiatives for food sovereignty and food justice.
