It's My Park! Day

Work alongside dozens of other park-loving volunteers on It's My Park! Day as you clean up "Brooklyn's back yard."
Volunteers will be preparing Lookout Hill for winter. Cleaning, path maintenance, and woodland restoration are on the agenda. The Prospect Park Alliance and REI are organizing the day's activities. Up to 120 people can be accommodated in the Prospect Park clean-up crew.
A free REI Volunteer t-shirt will be given to each volunteer. A yoga warm-up at 9:00 a.m. will help get your day started. Later, lunch will be provided.
Online pre-registration is required. Individuals pre-register on the REI website. Community, corporate, and other groups fill out the Group Inquiry Form on the Prospect Park Alliance website.
It's My Park! Day is held twice a year in parks and public spaces in the five boroughs--in the spring and in the fall.
Meet at Lookout Hill in Prospect Park, near the 16th Street entrance on Prospect Park Southwest.
