Friends of Greenwood Playground wants you to know that
Derby Fit is a fun and challenging total-body workout for skaters of all levels, based on drills adapted from the sport of roller derby.
A typical Derby Fit class consists of 10 to 15 minutes of jogging and dynamic movement to warm up, followed by land drills to build the muscles used in skating. Then skates are put on for skating drills.
All drills are non-contact and focus on skating fundamentals and cardio endurance. No skating skills are required, but you do need to be able to get around the track without holding onto anything. Derby Fit skaters can expect to build strength, get fit, and have a great time doing it!

The fee for the six-week women's rollerskating class is $100. Send your payment via PayPal to greenwoodfriendsfunds @ to secure your spot. All proceeds above the instructor fee will benefit Friends of Greenwood Playground.

The registration period will close on Friday, September 12th, at 12:30 p.m.
