F train riders (and A and C train riders) have a free connection at Jay Street-Borough Hall to the R train at Lawrence Street for the first time since 1933. The station has been renamed Jay Street-MetroTech. Full ADA accessibility has been added to the Jay Street and Lawrence Street platforms.
Next year, it will be possible to transfer from the Broadway-Lafayette B, D, F, and M trains to the uptown 6 train at Bleecker Street.
