Mingle and move with friends and neighbors at this free special Juneteenth event. Includes mini performance and light refreshments. Wear something comfortable to move in for this dancealong. A free salsa dance class will be offered in Kensington Plaza. The Singing Winds will offer the class on five Saturdays: May 31st and June 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th, from noon to 1:00 p.m.

 

People of all ages are welcome to participate.

Summer at Avenue C Plaza begins! 

Join ArtBuilt Mobile Studio and community partners for Kensington Culture programming in June, starting with their Summer Program Launch this Sunday from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with Bangladesh Institute of Performing Arts (BIPA). 

A series of weekly dance, embroidery, language, music, and art activities also begin next week. Be on the lookout for the month's calendar soon!

FREE DANCE SAMPLER AT CYNTHIA KING DANCE STUDIO

Free Dance Sampler

Saturday, September 7th

10:00 a.m. to noon

 

Cynthia King Dance Studio will offer a free dance sampler for ages four to twelve this Saturday, June 7th, from 10:00 a.m. to noon.

Dancers will have an opportunity to try different styles in this demonstration class.

There will also be refreshments and showings by current students.
