The Department of City Planning (DCP) will be holding community "Walkshops" this Sunday, October 25 to help them "understand community priorities and continue to hear from all who live, work, and play in the neighborhood."These walking tour/workshops are open to the public, so please join and share your input if you are able.There are three routes to choose from (see map above), but two walking tour times: 1-2pm and 3-4pm. The tours are of McDonald Avenue, Coney Island North, and Coney Island South. They all start at the intersection of Ocean Parkway and 18th Avenue, on the east side of Ocean Parkway.
Each tour is about a mile in length and will take about an hour to complete.
