STRATEGY MEETING FOR PROGRESSIVE JEWS ABOUT THE DEMOCRAT WHO VOTES WITH THE REPUBLICANS

                         Sunday, April 9th, 10:00 a.m. to noon

Progressive Jews who live in State Senate District 17 will gather
on Sunday, April 9th, from 10:00 a.m. to noon, for a meeting organized by Jews for Racial and Economic Justice (JFREJ). District 17 encompasses all or parts of Midwood, Flatbush, Borough Park, Kensington, Sunset Park, Madison, and Bensonhurst.

Strategize and build power to urge State Senator Simcha Felder to support sanctuary and safe haven for all--specifically by co-sponsoring the New York State Liberty Act, the New York State DREAM Act, and legislation to Raise the Age of adult prosecution.

Senator Felder, a registered Democrat, has been caucusing with the Republican Conference of the state senate since he took office in January 2013. He is currently serving his third two-year term, having run unopposed on the Democratic, Republican, and Conservative party lines in 2016. The next election will be on November 6, 2018.
