Donated toiletries and hygiene products for children and adults are being collected for the families in The Kensington Family Shelter. Only the items that are listed below are needed now. Nothing else can be accepted because of the limited amount of storage space.
Toiletries have to be in unopened packages. Items in regular and travel sizes are welcome.
Requests for donated items remain in effect until Catherine and Tracy send out an updated e-mail. They are neighborhood residents who have volunteered to serve as liaisons between the shelter and the Kensington and Windsor Terrace neighborhoods.

All items can be dropped off at the shelter any day before 8:00 p.m. Mark them "Attention: Uniquia." Or mail them to The Kensington, Uniquia Parker, 385 McDonald Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11218. The shelter is between Albemarle Road and Church Avenue, across the street from Foodtown.
