Flea Market and Seedlings Sale
Saturday, April 22nd, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Sunday, April 23rd, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
From the East Fourth Street Community Garden:
Coming soon to a sidewalk near you! This Saturday, April 22, from 9am to 2pm, and Sunday, April 23, from 10am to 2pm, come on by the East Fourth Street Community Garden while you’re out running your weekend errands.
At the garden's annual Spring Flea Market, you’ll find a great selection of household goods to buy, including books, toys, and clothing. And if you’ve skipped breakfast or lunch, you'll be happy to see an assortment of baked goods. (Mmm, muffins!)
This year the garden is again pleased to offer flats of gorgeous seedlings—including flowers, herbs and veggies—for your spring planting. After a seemingly endless winter, you could make your window box so happy!
All flea market proceeds go to meet the garden's expenses and will help fund this year’s roster of expanded event programming, which will feature a diverse range of concerts, educational and culinary workshops, and readings at the garden. More details on those events as the season progresses.
You can find the garden on East Fourth Street, between Caton Avenue and Fort Hamilton Parkway in the Windsor Terrace/Kensington section of Brooklyn. We hope to see you!
