About the Prospect Park Alliance

In partnership with the City of New York, the Prospect Park Alliance preserves and maintains Prospect Park, a place that receives more than million visits per year.

It is a nonprofit organization that was founded in 1987 after Prospect Park suffered deterioration and decline. The Alliance preserves the natural environment, restores historic design, and provides public programs and amenities for the Park.
