GRAND RE-OPENING OF THE MUCH-MISSED WINDSOR COFFEE

A happy announcement from Mark and Karen, the owners of Windsor Coffee:
Windsor Coffee will be re-opening on Sunday, May 23rd. The store has been closed since November 7, 2020, and Mark is very excited to get back to work.

Oslo Coffee (roasted in Williamsburg), Colson Pastries (Industry City), and locally-sourced Italian cookies will continue to be served. Cold Brew, lemonade, and iced and hot teas will also be available.

We look forward to seeing all of our old friends and acquaintances and meeting new customers.
Windsor Coffee will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. every day except Wednesday, when it will be closed.

Best,
Mark and Karen

When Mark and Karen opened Windsor Coffee on May 13, 2017, they knew that they wanted to create a friendly neighborhood space where customers could socialize in a comfortable and relaxing environment. They succeeded.

Stop by the store and enjoy their offerings while supporting a neighbor-owned-and-operated local, independent, small business.

WINDSOR COFFEE IS READY FOR THE CHANGE OF SEASONS

The owners of Windsor Coffee, Karen and Mark Newfeld, are welcoming everyone back after a great summer. You'll notice that they have some new additions, including a swing sign, window logo, and solar shades to manage the morning glare.

In addition to serving fine hot and cold Oslo coffee specialties and a selection of gourmet teas, they are straddling the seasons with cold brew, hot chocolate, and pumpkin spice lattes.

They continue to offer delicious baked goods from La Bagel Delight and Colson Patisserie.

Stop by and enjoy their offerings while supporting a neighbor-owned and operated local, independent, small business.

COLD BREW IS BACK AT WINDSOR COFFEE

Windsor Coffee is serving Cold Brew coffee again. The imported beans for this seasonal coffee drink are not available during the winter months.

Cold brew is created by steeping medium-to-coarse ground coffee in room temperature water for 15-18 hours and then filtering out the grounds. The result is a richly-flavored, clean cup of coffee without sediment. Cold Brew uses time, rather than heat, to extract the coffee's flavor.

Iced coffee and a variety of other specialty iced drinks are also served at
Windsor Coffee. Iced coffee is brewed like any regular coffee, cooled down, and then poured over ice.

Everything served
at this friendly, neighborhood coffee ba, owned by Karen and Mark Newfeld, is Brooklyn-based, including Oslo coffee, Brooklyn Biscuits, and Colson pastries.

WHAT'S HOT (OR COLD) AT WINDSOR COFFEE

The best-selling beverage at six-week-old Windsor Coffee, say owners Karen and Mark Newfeld, is the refreshing Oslo cold brew coffee, a special roast and grind with chocolate overtones that is grown in Mexico. Also popular is the rich-tasting iced English Breakfast tea.

The various sweet and savory biscuits from Brooklyn Biscuit have particularly found favor with customers. The sweet biscuits currently offered are Blueberry Lemon, Vanilla Chip, and Chocolate Hazelnut. The savory biscuits,
served warm, with  butter on the side, are Salted Buttermilk, Pepper and Goat Cheese, and Cheddar Jalapeno.

A local artist hosted an art show opening at Windsor Coffee on Friday. Her work will be on exhibit in the store for the remainder of the week.

Open hours at Windsor Coffee are 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., seven days per week.
