CROSSING THE STREET IN SAFETY IN WINDSOR TERRACE

Pedestrian Safety and Traffic Enforcement
Monday, March 3rd, 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Goals:
       1. Keep pedestrians free from harm.
       2. Enforce traffic laws.

If you've seen streets or intersections in Windsor Terrace that pose a danger to pedestrians, Community Board 7's Transportation and Public Safety committees want to hear about them. At their joint meeting this Monday in Windsor Terrace, they need input from WT residents to find out where the problems are and their possible causes.

This is the second of two joint meetings between the Transportation Committee and the Public Safety Committee. The first one was at the community board office in Sunset Park. Streetsblog wrote about it.

This meeting will be at the Windsor Terrace Y, 1224 Prospect Avenue, at the corner of Vanderbilt Street.

Jeremy Laufer  is CB 7's District Manager. The phone number of the board office is (718) 854-0003, the fax number is (718) 436-1142, and the e-mail address is communityboard7 @ yahoo.com.
