Leaves are valuable "browns" (carbon-rich material) that balance the food scraps in compost bins. Put your fallen leaves into clear plastic bags or brown paper bags and bring them to the East Fourth Street Community Garden, where they'll be turned into compost. Don't bring twigs, branches, or trash.
