Dear Neighbors,
Every year, PS 130 The Parkside School has a Holiday Gift Drive to ensure that every child at our Title I school has a happy season. This year, the administration has identified over ninety children in need, and we are working hard to make sure that those kids receive the basics they require (including coats, boots, backpacks, and blankets) as well as some of the toys/books/games they want. If you would like to help support some local children in need, here's how you can help:
- Donate money. You can sponsor a coat ($30) or coat & boots ($50), but any amount helps us toward serving 90-100 children in need. You can donate via PayPal https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin

Items have been specially requested by the children in need and will be shipped directly to the school. - Leave items in the Gift Drive boxes in the main offices of both school buildings (70 Ocean Parkway or 713 Caton Avenue). Choose new, unwrapped gifts for ages 5-11 (no pre-school toys, please). Art supplies, Legos, dolls, games, gloves, and hats are much needed.
The deadline to donate is Tuesday, December 12.
