ARTS, ACTIVISM, AND COMMUNITY ORGANIZING (FREE)



Kensington Connection: Network with Your Peers
Wednesday, April 27th, 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

A free arts, activism, and community organizing networking and careers panel will happen this Wednesday, April 27th, from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The event will take place in Kensington, Brooklyn, in Khan's Tutorial.

Featured panelists are Prachi Patankar, Shehab Chowdhury, Thenmozhi Soundararajan, Shama Rahman, and Shahana Hanif.

The Feringhees, a Bangladeshi American rock band, will be on hand to perform.

The program is organized by Kensington, Brooklyn native Hasiba Haq, and it is supported by Arts & Democracy and New York City Councilmember Brad Lander.

All are encouraged to attend, especially young desi/brown/bengali students who are interested in community, arts, and activism work.
