Spring Flea Market
Saturday, April 16th, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Sunday, April 17th,
from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Coming soon to a sidewalk near you! On Saturday, April 16th, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Sunday, April 17th, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., stop by the East Fourth Street Community Garden's Spring Flea Market--right outside the garden's gates.
You’ll find a great selection of household goods to choose from, including books, toys, clothing, and beauty products. And if you’ve skipped breakfast or lunch, there will be an assortment of baked goods to buy.
This year, the garden is pleased to offer flats of gorgeous seedlings—including flowers, herbs, and vegetables—for your spring planting.
A free children’s activity is planned for Saturday, April 16th, from 10:00 a.m. to noon, inside the garden gates. The craft will be the decorating and planting of mini-gardens for your budding urban farmer to take home.
All flea market proceeds will go to meet the garden's expenses and will help fund this year’s roster of expanded event programming, which will feature a diverse range of concerts, educational and culinary workshops, and readings, to be held at the garden as the season progresses.
The garden is on East Fourth Street, between Caton Avenue and Fort Hamilton Parkway, in the Windsor Terrace-Kensington section of Brooklyn.
