BROOKLYN COMMUNE'S CHEF WILL SERVE AT LINCOLN CENTER

The James Beard Foundation counts Brooklyn Commune's Chris Scott as one of New York’s finest chefs.

The Foundation has invited Chef Chris to perform his cooking magic for the Greens (the Foundation's group of foodies under 40) and Hang Set (Jazz at Lincoln Center’s group of jazz fans under 40) when the two groups get together at Lincoln Center for an evening of food and jazz.

The first part of the evening will be a reception, followed by a concert featuring the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis. The concert's hosts will be alto saxophonist, bandleader, and composer Kenny Garrett & The Music of Mulgrew Miller, the late pianist.

Chris Scott and his wife, Eugenie Woo, co-own Brooklyn Commune. They've fashioned the restaurant into an enjoyable and comfortable place to eat delicious food, and they've made it an active, contributing member of the community since its opening in 2010.
