Being a dog isn't easy. All that running around and barking and going on walks is a lot of work. Protecting human companions is a huge responsibility. Dogs, naturally, look forward to their down time. A relaxing bath, for instance, can rejuvenate your canine companions.
Make your dogs feel even more special than usual tomorrow by bringing them to a fund raiser for Sean Casey Animal Rescue. There they'll be washed with loving care (and Earthbath dog shampoo) by volunteers from Brooklyn Bark. Humans will be given free shampoo samples.
In addition to the dog bath, humans will be able to
- ask a veterinary question of VERG (Veterinary Emergency Referral Group) at its Veterinary Minute Clinic,
- get personalized training tips from Anthony Newman of Calm Energy Dog Training,
- try to win a prize from BarkBox,
- indulge in iced coffee, iced tea, and cookies for humans from FIDO, and
- meet some Brooklyn Cyclones.
Donate what you can for all of this. All proceeds will go to Sean Casey Animal Rescue to continue doing their fine work, which benefits animalkind and humankind. The amount you donate is your decision. The suggested amount is $10.00 or more.
The event, organized by Brooklyn Bark, will be held tomorrow--Saturday, July 13th--from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at the rescue.
