BUSIEST VOTING SITE FOR PARTICIPATORY BUDGETING: KENSINGTON

More people voted on participatory budgeting projects at Kensington's P.S. 230 Lower School than at any of the other six locations. More than 600 Kensington residents voted there.

The busiest voting location in 2012 was the Windsor Terrace Library, where more than 700 people participated. Last year's number is higher than this year's, but last year, residents of both Kensington and Windsor Terrace voted in the same location and had their votes counted together. This year, Windsor Terrace residents voted at the Windsor Terrace Y.

This year, a total of 2,812 votes were cast by residents of Councilmember Brad Lander’s district. Last year, 2, 213 people voted.
