Yes, participatory budgeting is Brad Lander's topic at tomorrow night's Albemarle Neighborhood Association (ANA) meeting, but I've been told that people can talk to our City Councilmember about anything they feel he can help with or explain.
FYI, the ballots and vote results for the other seven city council districts that were part of Participatory Budgeting 2013 are posted at http://pbnyc.org. Four are Brooklyn districts, three are Queens, and one is Manhattan/Bronx.
ANA's meetings are open to members and non-members. Non-members are welcome to join ANA and help strengthen the oldest neighborhood
association in Brooklyn. Membership is open to everyone
who resides in or owns a business in the area that ANA serves. Dues are $20 per year
for an individual or a family.
The meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m. and end at 8:00 p.m. It'll be held in the 4th floor student lounge at University Place, the student residence at 385 McDonald Avenue, across the street from Foodtown.
Refreshments will be provided by Foodtown and ANA.
